The one man wrecking crew that is Infinite Livez returns to the fray with this grand perversion of the traditional hip hop boast tune. Over a low-slung, squelching beat from the man Blufoot (best known for his work with Mystro), Mr Livez drops the kind of rhymes that could get you a bad reputation. If you didn’t already have one…
“Now I’m out of sight like eyes winking in anuses/ eat flowers come petals of various fragrances/ in faces/ of young girls”
And in between his litany of the most outrageous boasts and disses you’ll hear outside of the loony bin, Infinite stretches his vocal chords around the best of British-P-funk-Punk choruses. No messin’.
“I make lotus flowers blossom/in full bloom/ attract bees/ spread pollen”
Over, with fellow Shadowless member Tomz hooking up a fast, skipping sub-bass driven bouncement beat and Inf dropping a chorus guaranteed to have Queen spinning on their zimmers, the missing link between Ian Dury and Kool Keith drops more twisted science:
“Shadowless stand together/ In unity/ Don’t pee pee in your own community/ Let’s go up to Buckingham/ I’m bursting/ Fuck them/ What did you get for your Golden Jubilee?/ Stopped and searched and asked for identity? “It’s me – honestly!””
Infinite Livez’ reputation grows with every release and every live performance. Not content with having revitalised the market for “My Little Pony,” (recently reissued due to the wave of sexual frustration caused by his “Pononee Girl” single), Inf is now trying to corner the makret in one-eyed glove puppets called Barry. You have to admire the young man’s giant testicles. Whether you see him as Smiley Culture crossed with David Cronenbourg, or the soundtrack maker for acid tests at the Queen Vic, you’re going to want to take him home and keep him as your special friend.
